Department Chairs

ISM’s department chairs play a key role in guiding the academic and administrative activities for their designated specializations. In addition to teaching and dissertation advising, chairs oversee curriculum development and course content and coordinate faculty within their disciplines. Department chairs also make significant and varied contributions to the school through scholarly output, engagement in strategic initiatives, and participation in institutional governance.

  • Ajit Mittal, PhD

    New Delhi Faculty

    Dr. Ajit Mittal is a Professor of Finance at Amity International Business School, Amity University. He also taught Finance at the London and Singapore campuses of Amity University. Read Less Dr. Mittal holds a double Post-Graduate degree in Management and Commerce from Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow, and earned a Ph.D in Finance from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, India. His research interests include corporate finance, mutual fund investments, portfolio management, and the Indian capital markets. Dr. Mittal has authored two books on information technology applications in finance and has published six papers in national level journals.

    Dr. André Roux was the Director of the Institute for Futures Research (IFR) at the University of Stellenbosch from 1996 to August 2015. He is now in the full-time employ of the US Business School, where he lectures on economics and is also the program head for the school’s postgraduate programs in Futures Studies.
